Tamanda Kanjaye is a Malawian writer and poet with a small scattering of publications. She is known for her short and emotional pieces that explore the gritty ebb and flow of the human experience. She is also a senior editor with Africa in Dialogue and has guest edited for Lolwe: Issue 9.
She has a Master’s Degree in Media Studies from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (formerly University of Malawi – The Polytechnic) and works as a lecturer at the same institution.
She is also the founder and curator of Nthano Press – a forthcoming Malawian literary magazine.
